Unsure what is causing your puppy to continue whining? Let’s take a look at some of the possible reasons behind puppy whining.

If your puppy begins to whine you will want to check the obvious reasons first. For example is your puppy showing signs of illness? Has it happen to lose its favorite toy under the couch and can’t reach it? Or perhaps the room is too cold or too hot?

If you happen to have your puppy inside its crate immediately take him/her out and take it to where it uses the restroom. Most puppies will whine when they need to use the restroom.

On another note many puppies suffer from separation anxiety, so it’s important that you teach your puppy to accept being alone. Not taking the proper action will only result in your puppy developing destructive and annoying behaviors. Even if you happen to be home, you still want your puppy to be accustomed to being alone.

You also want to make sure that you make your puppy feel as comfortable as possible, ensuring he/she has food, water and toys.
